Normally, we’d count Jeenee Mobile’s social responsibility work and its Make A Difference campaign towards the overall score of this review but as we’ve mentioned, those plans and programs seem to have been removed from the site at the time of writing. With that said, Optus is currently doing big data at a much more reasonable price than its MVNOs. So much so that there’s almost no competition. The $59 Optus Choice plan will get you 100GB per month, unlimited calls and texts to Australian numbers, 2GB of roaming data, unlimited calls and text to 35 countries and extra perks, such as 12 months of Apple Music and Optus Sport access at no extra cost. Though the recent decision from Optus to prioritise premium plans over everything else during network congestion brings that claim into question. At the time of writing, that’s the most affordable mobile broadband plan with the most amount of data. However, with Optus 5G slowly rolling out across Australia, it might not be the best time to sign up for 12 months with an Optus 4G MVNO. Optus itself is already selling 5G Home Internet plans with unlimited data at $70 per month. In addition to that, you can currently sign up to an Optus wireless plan with 200GB of data for $65 per month. The Jeenee Mobile customer care centre is open Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm and doesn’t open on public holidays.
