Step 1: Open Google Assistant

You can open Google Assistant by pressing for a couple of seconds on the back button – or other shortcuts specific to your Android device. After you open the app, select the menu by clicking on the icon in the right corner of the screen.

Step 2: Set Your Reminder

If you don’t have this option already on the menu, you can search for it in the search bar, or by voice commands. After you find it, you will have the option of typing it the details of your reminder.

How to Add Reminders on Android with Google Calendar

This one is perhaps more intuitive than the Google Assistant method. While you’re not setting up a reminder per se, you can create an event or a countdown that you will be reminded of whenever you need to. Open the app and tap on the Create Task button.

Tap on the Microphone button to create a reminder through a voice command or manually enter the details such as date, time, repeat, and title.
