Add a Picture Widget on Samsung Phones

Note: The steps mentioned in this section of the article hold true only for New Zealand products. The settings in your phone will be different. For more information, contact Samsung support page.  To add a picture widget on your Samsung phone, you shall use the pre-installed Picture Frame Widget app. Not all Android versions come with the Picture Frame Widget. So if your Samsung phone doesn’t already have it, install it from the Galaxy Store.  Now, let’s get to the procedure to add a picture widget on your Samsung home screen.  Step 1: Tap and hold the home screen of your Samsung phone Step 2: Select ‘Widget’ and tap on ‘Picture frame’ Step 3: Select the pictures or album you would like to add to the home screen as a widget and hit OK Step 4: FInally, tap OK after selecting the pictures of your choice  That’s it! You’ll see your favorite pictures on the home screen as widgets. 

Add a picture widget on other Android phones

Non-Samsung phones provide you with two-options to add pictures widgets on Android home screen. Read on to know what they are and how to follow those methods!

1. Using Notes Widget

As you know, Notes widget is readily available on Android. To add a picture in the Android home screen, follow the below steps.  Step 1: On your Android phone, open the Notes app Step 2: Create a new note by tapping the + icon Step 3: In the new note, add the image(s) you would like to see on the home screen by clicking on the image icon Step 4: Next, tap the menu icon (three dots one over the other) on the top right corner and select ‘Place on home screen’ Voila! Your new note with your favorite images will appear on the home screen. That was pretty simple, wasn’t it? Well, most people have this question, what kind of images can I have on my home screen? The answer is quite simple–whatever you like.
